Advanced and expert guests enjoy Copper’s challenging bowls, free snowcap accessed terrain and Woodward Copper, an action sports training facility. Generous beginner terrain and award-winning instructors at Copper Ski and Ride School cater to first-time and novice visitors. While Copper is best known for its world-class skiing and snowboarding terrain, Copper also boasts 16 miles of cross-country trails and first-rate terrain parks await the daring and Xtreme mountain thrill seekers. Our guests also enjoy the resort’s intimate, pedestrian-only villages which offer restaurants, family-friendly activities, shopping and comfortable lodging, all within walking distance to the lifts. During the summer, Copper ski lifts access boundless hiking and mountain biking trails. There's also plenty of kid-pleasing fun, including mini golf, a climbing wall, go-kart racing and a zipline. The resort recently opened the new Woodward WreckTangle, an outdoor ninja obstacle course with cargo nets, balance beams, rope swings and more, and plans to open an alpine slide, which will be North America's longest at 5,800 feet, by fall 2017. The local 18 hole golf course provides another warm-weather diversion, as does the area’s whitewater rafting, tennis and nearby fishing. After a day on the mountain, experience Copper’s nightlife and hit up local bars and restaurants, some with live music every day.
